Class Policy

  • Arrive punctually for both the start and end of class.

  • Refrain from consuming food or chewing gum during class hours.

  • Remember to bring your textbooks, workbooks, notebooks, and writing utensils.

  • Ensure your homework is submitted prior to the given deadline.
     

Tuition Payment and Refund Policy

For Group Classes

  • Tuition payments must be completed 5 business days prior to when your first class starts.

  • Tuition payments are not refundable for a missed class, but we ask that students who need to cancel notify us via email

  • Jade Chinese School reserves the right to cancel a course due to low student enrollment. In such cases, we offer alternative options, such as making classes shorter, offering discounted private lessons, or postponing group classes to the next term

For Private Lessons​

  • If a student cancels or reschedules a lesson within 48 hours of the lesson’s start time, the student will still be charged for the lesson

  • If a student cancels or reschedules before 48 hours of the lesson’s start time 3 times in 1 month, the student will be charged the cost of 1 lesson

  • Both the school and the student’s teacher should be notified of the lesson cancellation via email

Safety

  • All students attending Jade Chinese School or a place near their school should be dropped off and picked up promptly. 

  • Jade Chinese School will not be held responsible for students who are not picked up on time. However, students are welcome to wait inside the facility of the Jade Chinese School center.

  • In the case that in-person students are feeling unwell, it is recommended that they stay home or switch to online classrooms.
