From coursework help, to AP exam preparation, Jade Chinese School educators will help you every step of the way toward learning Mandarin Chinese.
Our Clients
What to Expect
We have proven learning results. Students that follow the learning plan (including the two 90-minute classes a week and assignments), will enjoy monthly progress.
After your first class you can expect to speak some Mandarin Chinese.
After 1 month you can expect to accurately speak and distinguish the 4 Chinese tones.
After 2 months you can expect to use the 4 Chinese tones and identify Mandarin Chinese used in conversations.
After 3 months you will be able to conduct basic conversations with Mandarin speaking friends.
After 4 months you may have learned enough to pass the HSK* level one exam.
*The HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) test is China's only official test of Chinese language proficiency for non-native speakers. The HSK test was developed in 1984 and the first HSK test was held overseas in 1991.
